Regarding the development of agricultural research, the Hungarian National Center for Agricultural Research and Innovation (NAIK) and the Agricultural Research Council of Pakistan (PARC) have agreed on scientific cooperation. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed online on 15 December 2020.
On 24 December 2020, Dr. Azad Marshall, Bishop of Raiwind Diocese and President of the National Council of Churches in Pakistan (NCCP) paid a Christmas visit at the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad.
On 19 December 2020, Dr. István Grafjódi, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad met with the prominent members of the Pakistani alumni students.
On 15 December 2020, Dr. István Balla, Deputy Director General of the Hungarian National Center for Agricultural Research and Innovation (NAIK) and Dr. Muhammad Azeem Khan, President of the Agricultural Research Council of Pakistan (PARC) signed a scientific Cooperation Agreement.
On 4 December 2020, Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas and the President of the Bank of Punjab signed a sponsorship agreement for the restoration of ten paintings of Hungarian painter August Schoefft, which belong to the Princess Bamba collection in the Lahore Fort.
On 22 November 2020, the Hungarian Embassy in Islamabad participated at the charity bazaar organized by the Islamabad Foreign Women Association (IFWA) this year as well.
On 18 November 2020, Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas met with Dr. Tariq Banuri, Chairperson of the Pakistani Higher Education Commission (HEC). During their meeting they discussed the opportunities of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program, which is offered by the Hungarian government.
On 12 November 2020, Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas and Commercial Counsellor Dr. István Grafjódi met with Mr. Atif Bokhari, President of the Pakistani Board of Investment.
On 26 October 2020, Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas met with Honourable Mr. Saleem Mandviwalla, Deputy Chairman of the Pakistani Senate at the Parliament House.
