Within the frameworks of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme, the Hungarian Government offers at most 200 scholarships annually to the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for pursuing studies in Hungary in English language, according to the following terms:
- at most 125 scholarships for undergraduate (BA/BSc), primarily in the fields of agriculture, technical and natural sciences
- at most 50 graduate (MA/MSc), primarily in the fields of technology, engineering, economics and natural sciences
- at most 25 scholarships annually for full doctoral (PhD/DLA), in English language in any field of interest
Stipendium Hungaricum scholarships are available for Pakistani students fulfilling basic eligibility criteria in specified disciplines and other requirements of Hungarian universities under following programs:
- Bachelor's Degree (after 12 years education)
- One-Tier Master's Degree (after 12 years education)
- Master's Degree (after 16 years education)
- PhD Degree (after 17/18 years education)
Applicants are advised to apply only against specific degree programs and in specified study fields/major subjects defined by HEC.
