Meetings at the Parliament of Pakistan

On 21 September 2020, Mr, Tivadar Takács, Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Hungarian Embassy in Islamabad met with Senator Muhammad Ali Khan, MNA Mehnaz Akbar Aziz and Asad Qaiser, Speaker of the National Assembly.

On 21 September 2020, Mr, Tivadar Takács, Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Hungarian Embassy in Islamabad met with Senator Muhammad Ali Khan and MNA Mehnaz Akbar Aziz, Convener of the Hungarian-Pakistani Parliamentary Friendship Group to review the bilateral matters of the two countries.

Following the meeting, the Chargé also had a meeting with Asad Qaiser, Speaker of the National Assembly. Mr. Tivadar Takács briefed the Honourable Speaker about the key issues in the bilateral relations, highlighting the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship, which is given to 200 Pakistani students yearly. He also informed the Speaker about the economic importance of MOL Pakistan and the tasks arising from the follow-up of the Joint Economic Committee, which was hold in Budapest in September 2019.
